It’s an addition to your pesto sauce, just tastes better! This recipe came up as a result of me trying out my kitchen ingredients in various combinations! My basil plant was dying and I had to use up all the remaining healthy leaves before they also rotted away !🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃

Healthy, plant-based, so delicious and filling! No-guilt cooking. Literally takes 15 mins to cook (most of the time is for pasta boiling.

Sauce:

1 cup soaked green peas

7-8 soaked cashews

8-9 fresh basil leaves, washed and chopped

1 clove of garlic

1 tsp olive oil

Salt, pepper, oregano and chili flakes

Blend all of the above and make a smooth paste (can add water to adjust the consistency)

Main:

Boil pasta of your choice (make sure you add salt to them)

In a heated pan, add the paste/sauce (I cook it a little bit to get rid of the raw flavor of garlic)

Add the boiled pasta and stir for a min or so!

Finish with cherry tomatoes 🍅
